从五年级开始，每次学完一个单元都要求学生回去写一篇围绕本单元主题的作文，其实也只不过是短短的几句话而已，一段时间下来，许多孩子在“写”的方面有了很大的进步。前段时间学了“过去式”，我要求学生完成作文Last weekend，关注到了一些孩子在写作上的薄弱之处，同时也欣喜地看到了许多孩子的进步。以下两篇作文是六年级一班的两位小朋友写的。

I’m Wan Cheng . I was busy last weekend !
On Saturday morning ,I did my homework and watched TV. After lunch, I went to a park. I flew kites and took many pictures .Then I went to the zoo. The zoo was big . I saw elephants ,pandas …The elephant was big ,the panda was cute…In the evening ,I read a book and went to sleep. What a fun day!
Last Sunday was a fun day ,too. In the morning , I went to my sister’s home with my mother. My sister was a naughty girl. We played badminton together. We were so happy. In the afternoon, we went to the supermarket with my mother . we bought many food and some fruits. In the evening, we went back home. I felt a little tired , but I was very happy!
My last weekend was very happy and funny. How about your weekend ?

My last weekend was really colourful. On Saturday morning ,the weather was fine. So I enjoyed the beautiful weather. But then,I was a little bored , because I was nothing to do. So I went to my parents’ bedroom to play computer games. At noon,I felt so hot and tired. I went to bed and had a beautiful dream. About 2 o’clock, I waked up. Then I went to Xinghua Bookstore to learn English. At 4:40 , school was over ,I went back home. My mother cooked tasty dinner for me and my sister. After dinner ,we played chess together. We had a good time.
On Sunday morning ,I looked my baby dogs,they are so lovely! I like that one----It has two big eyes,small mouth,short tail . It is a little fat. In the afternoon,I learned maths and Chinese with my classmate. At 4:40,I went home. I saw the sunset. It was very beautiful.
