全国中学生英语能力竞赛(NEPCS)初三年级听力部分试题题型结构如下:

I.单词辨音:选出你所听到的单词或短语。(5小题,5分)

II.句子理解:(5小题,5分)

选出与你所听句子意义相近的句子。

III.对话理解:(10小题,10分)

A)你将听到一段对话和一个问题,选择问题的正确答案。(5小题)

B)你将听到一段对话,从每组图中选出符合你所听到的对话情景的那幅图画。(5小题)

IV.短文理解:你将听到一至两段短文,根据所听内容完成各题。(10小题,10分)

上述各题的录音材料除第I、II题外均读两遍。

听力测试不同于文字全在卷面上,可供反复推敲的笔试。试题是录在磁带上的,而放录音的次数和时间是有限制的,解题随录音的播放而进行,中间只有很短暂的时间供思考,一道题的录音放过之后,解题亦即随之结束而转入下题;如果精神紧张或精神不集中而没听清,该题就没有再做的机会了,因此,要想在听力测试中取得较好的成绩,首要的就是要放松精神,消除紧张感;平时要注意语音、词汇、语法及惯用法等基础知识,增强自信心,并且要注意多做一些模拟性的听力测试,这样做起题来就会感到轻松自如。一拿到试卷,应首先浏览一下题目要求和第一道题的四个选项,尽量从四个选项中猜测出这个题目或这段对话(短文)可能涉及的内容或可能提出的问题。如果四个选项均为时间,那么该题就可能会对该对话(短文)中有关时间提出问题。录音结束时你的选择也应该结束,即使吃不准也不要去想它,马上准备下一个问题。整个20分钟左右的听力测试应在紧张而 又有条不紊的氛围中完成。

听是学习语言的基础,也是学习语言的能力。听的能力反映在听的过程中,对说话者所发出的信息进行辨别、判断、理解并做出相应的语言、动作、表情的反应。

教学大纲对初中生的要求是能听懂基本上没有生词,浅于所学语言知识的英语国家人士的录音,每分钟能听90—100和100—110个左右单词的材料,理解正确率达70%。在对听力实施考查的题型中,常见的有四类:一是辨;二是反应;三是理解;四是听写。

My name is Steve.I moved into this house a few weeks ago,and I'm really enjoying living here.There's only one bedroom,and at the moment my sister is staying with me because she's looking for a job.

I work in advertising.It's hard work,and the hours are really long,but I like it.And it pays well.I don't really fell worried about my work.

The only thing I don't like about this house is one of the neighbours,Mrs Snell,I think her name is .She's really strange.She never talks to anyone.I always say hello to her,and“Are you all right?”and“What a lovely day today!”,but she never says a word.Maybe she doesn't like young people.

My sister and I had a party a few days ago.It really wasn't very noisy.About ten of us were here until 11:00and then we went out to dance.When I saw Mrs Snell the next day,I said I hoped there wasn't too much noise,but as usual she didn't say anything.Funny lady.

This evening my sister and I are going to visit a friend of ours who's in hospital,and then we're going out for a Chinese meal.

应试策略

1.我们在听短文之前,一定要抓紧时间细读所给的问题及选项,并根据选项的内容进行对比,对短文的内容进行预测(包括对问题中问句的内容进行推理),达到提前了解短文中可能出现的单词、词组或句子。只有这样,在听短文时才能有目的、有选择地得出正确的判断。另外,在听的过程中,一定要注意并简略地记下短文中的关键词语。这些词语主要包括事情发生的场合、时间、地点、事件中的人物,数字及简单运算的词或短语。这样,在听完短文后再进行归纳、综合、判断,就可以顺利整理出相关信息,从而确定正确答案。

2.一定要在听完全文并且理解全文的主要内容基础上才能作答,千万不要边听边作答。但是,在听的过程中,尤其是在两遍录音之间的间隔时间里,可以迅速记下人名、地名、时间、事件的起因、过程、结果等关键信息。听短文不能强求句句听懂和记住,也不在于仅听懂只言片语,而在于对整体内容的理解和把握。听完之后,还要结合题目进行思考和判断,依靠对短文具体细节的回忆,选择正确答案。

3.对于影响理解的生词,一是尽可能从上下文猜测其词义;二是如果一时来不及思索上下文,则可记下该词的大致发音,等听完全文后再来判断它的词义,因为有时听到某词会产生“耳熟陌生”之感,但听完全文经过思索后,多数情况下会恍然大悟。切忌在听短文时在某个单词上冥思苦想,停留过久。

4.注意听短文首句、首段。因为“开场白”往往是讲话人开门见山自我介绍,阐明讲话的目的,主要内容,引出下文的开端,充分利用这些信息对理解全文和答题均十分重要。
