模块分析
语言功能:选择适合自己的物品并陈述理由。
学习任务:It’s big and light. It’ll be easy for you.
运用任务:比较两种事物,发现其特点和优缺点;选择适合自己的物品并说明理由;描述一个物品;根据描述找出物品。
综合分析:本模块引导学生学会选择适合自己的物品,并会用英语说明理由。Unit 1让学生学会描述事物的特点、比较事物,并能够根据描述指出说的是哪一个物品。Unit 2 通过试衣服的场景,引出It’s easy for him/her. 的句型。用形容词描述图片。在读词的过程中体会字母组合oa, oy, oo在单词中的发音。
模块安排处理
第一单元:故事整体呈现,出现新句型和语法内容;
第二单元:新句型综合运用(语音和歌曲)。
处理该模块时,主要依据教学目标将单元顺序做调整。
第一课时:故事以及主要句型和语法内容的整体呈现,讲解相关语法内容,帮助学生理解课文;
第二课时:主要句型和语法内容的练习;
第三课时:学习语音和歌曲;
第四课时:综合运用所学内容,表演,完成任务。
教学目标

c) 运用任务:比较两种事物,发现其特点和优缺点;选择适合自己的物品并说明理由;描述一个物品;根据描述找出物品。
2、情感态度:培养学生与他人合作的精神以及用英语做事情的基本技能,要求学生能够在小组中与他人交流、学会评价他人。
3、学习策略:培养学生积极与他人合作、主动向他人学习、积极运用英语进行表达和交流、与同学共同完成学习任务的能力。

StepⅠ Warming up
1. Review: Words about colours. 复习一些表述物品特征的反义词。
2. Task: I am going to Beijing. I need a new bag. Would you help me to choose the best one for me? (展示几组可以用意思相反的形容词描述的图片。)
StepⅡ Presentation
A. Let’s learn the new lesson.
T:(出示准备好的小包)What colour is this? What is this?
Learn:
pocket -- It’s a pocket. -- This pocket is small.
T: Look at this pocket.(指着小包上的口袋,并把物品放入这个有洞的口袋)
Learn:
broken -- It’s broken. -- This pocket is broken.
StepⅢ Practice
活动1:猜一猜
活动目的:用形容词描述物品,复习形容词。
活动准备:多组同类物品的图片
活动过程:准备同类物品的图片若干,教师描述,请学生猜。猜对的学生获得猜对的这张图片,并继续描述其他图片,由其他同学猜测。图片中的物品可以包括水果、食物、衣物、家具、交通工具、电器、人的身体部位等。
活动2:时装展示会
活动目的:描述自己的服装。
活动准备:复习服装名称及相关形容词
活动过程:学生们准备一段语言,描述自己的服装,如:My T-shirt is green. It‘s got a beautiful flower on it. It’s big and it’s made of silk. I think it looks good. 请全班同学为这些描述打分。最后评选出一位语言最好并且衣着最适合自己的学生。

3. Follow the tape to read the text.
Ms Smart: Lingling, look at your bag! It’s broken. You can’t take it to China. I’ll buy you a new one.
Lingling: Thank you.

Lingling: This black bag is nice. It’s big!
Ms Smart: But it’s heavy. This green one is light. And it’s got two pockets.
Lingling: But it’s small.
Ms Smart: Look at this blue one. It’s big and light.
Lingling: Oh yes!
Sales assistant: And it’s got four wheels. It’ll be easy for you.
Ms Smart: Great! We’ll take it, please.
Lingling: Thank you very much.

StepⅤ Consolidation
1. Let’s play a game.(发给学生事先准备好的几组卡片)

学过的一个名词和两个形容词为一组,让学生用这些词构思成句或是编成故事,进行表演。可以使用的名词包括:pencil box, school bag等。
2. Role-play(短剧表演)
活动目的:培养学生的表演能力,加强学生的口语表达能力。
活动准备:不同季节的衣服
活动过程:三人一组,一人扮演售货员,两人扮演购物者。使用句型It’s got… on it. It’s too… for you. Try this one in…展示购物场景。学生可以再加入其他句子,如:How much is it? I will take it. 教师可以设置不同季节的场景,让学生说一说天气情况,再说一说为什么要到服装店买衣服,或者说一说为什么要买某件衣服。总之,要求学生不要只模仿书上的例子表演,而是要充分运用学过的语言。
