一.Teaching contents and analysis

1. Teaching contents :  B Let’s learn & Let chant.

2. Teaching aims:  a. Ss can listen, say, read and write the four-skilled words and the phrase: sleeping, climbing, fighting, swinging and drinking water.

b. Ss can listen, say, read the new expressions and use them in reality. Eg : What are the elephants doing?  They’re drinking water.

c. Ss can listen, understand and read the chant.

d. Ss will love animals and the nature.

二.Main points and difficulties

Main points:  Ss can listen, say, read and write the four-skilled words and the phrase: sleeping, climbing, fighting, swinging and drinking water. Besides, Ss can listen, say, read and use the new expressions: What are the elephants doing? They’re drinking water.              

Difficulties: The chant may be difficult for some Ss.

Teaching  Steps

Purposes

Step1. Warm-up

a. Let’s chant.   

b. Some free talks.

   T: Look! What’s the Mr bear doing?

What’s the Mr monkey doing?

What’s the Miss rabbit doing?

Step2. Presentation and practice

(1)    T: What about this rabbit?

 Ss: It’s jumping.

T: What ’s the kangaroo doing?  T leads Ss to say the word: leaping.

T: Please guess , where are they?  Ss guess.

T: What else are in the zoo?  Ss look, say and make a chant.

(2)    T: The zoo is very interesting, right? Let’s visit the zoo by bus together. PPT shows 2 lions.

 T: What’s under the tree?

Ss: 2 lions.

 T: What are they doing? 

Then, T teaches “sleeping” and “snoring”.

Through the pronunciation of “writing”, Ss try to read the word “bite” and the sentence: The small bear is biting.

After that, T: I have another kind of bear.

T gives Ss a riddle and Ss guess the riddle.

Then, T teaches “climbing”.

Ss try to make dialogues, eg: A: What do you see?

B: I see… .

A: What are they doing?

 B: They’re… .

(3)    T: The koalas are on the trunk, the lions are under the tree, what’s in the tree?

Then, T teaches: swinging. Next, Ss find the home for some words.  At last, Ss finish the practice by themselves.

(4)    Ss listen to the dialogues and answer two questions.

Q1. Who are drinking water?

Q2. What are the bears doing?

T teaches: drinking water & fighting.

垫。

 

通过两只兔子与袋鼠的不同跳法,很自然地让学生区分出jump, hopleap的不同之处。

激起孩子们的无限想象

与期待,从而很自然地引

出接下去要出场的动物

和教授新单词。

 

 

通过发音规则引出单词

biting并教授The small

 bear is biting.猜谜语是

孩子们所乐此不彼的,并

且对此很感兴趣。通过猜

谜来引出新单词未尝不

是种好办法。

种范例,让孩子通过自己

的思考给单词们找家,从

而进一步理解现在分词

的三种变化形式,深刻而

有效。

Step3. Conclusion and extension

T : This dialogue is from KaKa and his friend Peter. Let’s read it together.

Then, Ss choose 2 kinds of the animals to make new dialogues. 

At last, T&Ss chant together.

Step4. Homework

  1. Listen and read 56 and 62 three times.

2. Write the four-skilled words and the phrase 5 times.

课的巩固与拓展内容,既

可以巩固新知并拓展课

文内容,又能加强学生的

合作能力。

 

回家跟读很重要,可以让学生把在课堂上没有完全消化的知识全部落实。四会单词的抄写也非常重要,只有通过反复地抄写与记忆,才能做到会默写。
