Step 2 presentation
1、老师先唱一首英语歌《say you, say me》，然后说Singing is my hobby.老师做几个舞蹈动作，说Dancing is my hobby. 老师做玩电脑的动作，说Playing computer games is my hobby.最后引入hobby（业余爱好）这个新词，让学生follow me.几遍后让学生学会并认读这个单词。尔后，说singing、 dancing、 playing computer are all my hobbies. 问hobby的复数形式，请一个同学来回答hobbies， 要求学生记住。
2、老师出示一张明信片，问what’s this？ 学生答：It’s a postcard. 老师拿出几张明信片，问what are these？ 学生答：They are postcards. 老师做收集明信片的动作，边做边说I collect postcards. 连续说三遍，然后教新词collect（收集）。让学生读几遍，认读并记住这个单词。
3、老师拿出一张邮票，教新词stamp（邮票）。拿出一本集邮册，说“我集邮”how to speak in English？（用英语怎么说？）请一个同学说出I collect stamps. 老师接着说：“集邮是我们的业余爱好”。用英语怎么说，请学生回答：Collecting stamps is my hobby.
Step 3 teaching text
Part 1首先让学生仔细听一遍录音带，然后回答：What is Simon’s hobby? (Collecting stamps is Simon’s hobby.)打开书，turn to page 10, 看第一段，问Have you got any other new words in this passage？提出新词men和women，教授新词，并指出men是man的复数，women是woman的复数。顺便说一下famous这个词，给出词组be famous for（因……而出名），并举几个例：Sanya is famous for Tianyahaijiao. China is famous for the Great Wall. 注意句子collecting stamps is my hobby的谓语动词，是is，不是are.
Look at the second paragraph. Read it. Pay attention “Do you collect stamps?”你收集邮票吗？答Yes, I do.或No, I don’t. “Have you got any stamps from China?”你有一些来自中国的邮票吗？答：Yes, I have.或No, I haven’t .Is there a letter For me？答：Yes, there is.或No，theren’t. 教学新词“another另一个”举例：I don’t like the blue bag, please give me another. 我不喜欢这个蓝色的包，请再给我一个。

1. Listen to the tape twice, Then follow it. Have the students act different 角色，read the text.
