  一、教学内容
  外语教学与研究出版社《新标准英语》第二册(供三年级起始用)
  Module 4 Unit 1 What do you do at the weekend?
  二、教学目标
  1.知识目标:①能听懂会说单词:weekend;play;词组:watch TV
②能听懂会说What do you do at the weekend?及答句。
  2. 能力目标:能运用所学知识谈论周末活动。
  三、教学重点
  1.Words: weekend, play
  2.Phrase: watch TV
  3.Sentence Pattern: What do you do at the weekend? I play basketball.
  四、教学难点
  Use the pattern to solute the task.
  五、课前准备
  Multi-media, some pictures and some objects.(basketball, football, table tennis)
  六、教学过程
  Step 1: Warming up
  1. Say a chant.
  2. Listen to a song.
  【设计意图:通过课前的热身活动,活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习兴趣,为本课的教学创造积极的条件。】
  Step 2: Revision/Lead in
  1.Greetings.
  2. Revision and lead in.
  ①Show a basketball / football / table tennis to pupils, ask them to say out the words.
  ②Play the basketball / football / table tennis. Elicit the new word “play” and phrases: play basketball, play football, play table tennis.
  ③Put some pictures on the blackboard. Then read the phrases. Do actions as they repeat.
  ④Do the actions and elicit the phrases: go swimming, go cycling, watch TV.

  ⑤Play a guessing game to review the phrases about activities.
  【设计意图:有趣的新课导入方式创造了一个生动活泼的课堂教学气氛,在极短的时间内吸引住学生,给人一种“课伊始,趣亦生”的感觉。教师做打篮球、踢足球、打乒乓球的动作,学生说出词组;然后教师发指令,学生不仅要做动作,还要说出所做动作的词组,真正做到了“眼到、口到、心到、身到”。采用TPR教学法,一方面让学生全身心地参与到活动中来,充分调动了学生学习的积极性;另一方面可以培养学生各种机能的协调发展。】
  Step 3 : New Lessons and practice
  1. Introduce the friends to the pupils.
  T: Look, our friends are coming. (The pupils watch the screen.) After learning this lessen, you’ll be a reporter to interview some “Superstars”
  2. Ask pupils to answer the question: What do you do at the weekend?
  Ss: I play basketball / football / table tennis. I watch TV / go swimming / go cycling.
  3. Learn the new word “weekend ” and the sentence: What do you do at the weekend? Write this sentence on the blackboard and ask the pupils to repeat.
  4. Practice the drills in pairs.
  5. Ask some pupils to be the “Superstars”. Then the pupils interview actions (Talk about the weekend activities and then tick in the blanks.)
  【设计意图:介绍我们的好朋友,一方面紧扣教材,另一方面布置了本节课的任务:“采访明星”。让学生带着任务去学习,运用了真实任务教学法。利用多媒体课件引出新内容,童趣盎然,不仅让学生通过听觉来学习,还通过视觉、动作等其他方式来学习。这样可吸引学生的注意力,激发学生的学习动机,进而启发学生的思维,提高教学效率。利用学生熟悉的明星:赵薇、姚明、贝克汉姆等作为采访对象,学生自然兴高采烈,在学生的不断“采访”中,语言知识不断得到加强和巩固。】
  Step 4: Extension
  1.Practice the pattern drills with the pupils.
  T: What do you do at the weekend, Peter?
  Peter: I play basketball.
  T: (Facing to the pupils.) What does Peter do at the weekend? He plays basketball.
  2. Practice the pattern drills with the pupils. What does Yao Ming / Rose do at the weekend? He / She goes swimming /cycling.
  3. Talk about the pictures. (Group work.)
  4. Have a competition.
  First let pupils practice in pairs and then ask some of them to practice in front of the class.
  【设计意图:通过循序渐进的教学方法,将学生较难掌握的一般现在时第三人称的表示法呈现给学生,降低了语言的学习难度;利用学生熟悉的明星:赵薇、姚明、贝克汉姆和本班学生的名字进行巩固练习,学生练起来很有新鲜感,兴趣十足;适时的比赛,不仅巩固了新知识,而且学生之间互相评价,体现了自主性。通过鼓励与奖励,使学生始终保持强烈的兴趣和信心,敢于参与语言实践。】
  Step 5: Homework
  1. Interview actions: Interview your family members or your classmates about their weekend activities. (Tick in the blanks.)
  2. Discussion:(Talk about their weekend activities.)
  【设计意图:课堂上运用语言的时间毕竟有限,更多的运用机会是在课后,通过家庭作业,拓展了学生的发散性思维,同时也体现了语用性的思想。】
